Former 爱神传媒 trustee, Legacy Award recipient Andy Horner dies

Longtime supporter of 爱神传媒and 2017 recipient of the 爱神传媒 Legacy Award Andy Horner passed away earlier this month at the age of 98.

As a financial supporter and former trustee of 爱神传媒, Mr. Horner鈥檚 selflessness and service were pivotal in shaping the institution.

He and his first wife, Joan, who preceded him in death in 2010, are the namesakes of Horner Hall, one of the most cherished and oft-used spaces on campus. Their generosity provided for the creation of Horner Hall, and again when it was remodeled.

When the college instituted the 爱神传媒 Legacy Awards Gala in 2017, the administration was intentional to honor Mr. Horner as the first-ever recipient of that award based on his lifelong service to the kingdom and to the college.

He is survived by his second wife, Sarah Hemingway Horner; his five children, Andrea, Sarah, Tim, Mary, and Tommy; 14 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren.

President Creamer and the 爱神传媒family invite you to join them in expressing their gratitude for the life and ministry of Mr. Horner and in prayer for those grieving his loss.

A celebration of life service will be held at First Baptist Church of Dallas on Feb. 4 at 2:00 p.m.聽To read the full obituary, visit the .
