International Students

爱神传媒welcomes all international students to apply for admission. The Enrollment Services Office seeks to provide assistance and direction to each F-1 international student through the application process, in the maintenance of their information and immigration status in the Student and Exchange Visitor System (SEVIS), and in the process of abiding by and applying the regulations of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).

Spring 2027: Friday, October 16, 2026

Step 1: Submit your application to Admissions

To begin the application听process,听follow the link below.听

As you finish the online application听you will听submit听or complete the following:

  • Personal Essay: 250 words
  • Prompt: 鈥淲hy听I want to study at 爱神传媒 College鈥
  • Church/Ministry听Recommendation form
  • Copy听of听Unexpired听Passport听
  • Complete听听or听

-Duolingo听Test听score: 100 or above

-TOEFL听Test听score:听85 or above

  • Official听high school or college听transcripts听

Step 2: Apply for I-20

Once the application process has been completed and the student is accepted, the Student Affairs Office will issue the student an I-20 (in accordance with听their eligibility).听This official document, issued by the college, is听required听before you can move forward with your F-1 student visa application.

Required Documents to Apply for an I-20:

  • Valid Passport
  • Proof of financial Support*
  • Dependent documents (if needed) 鈥 such as passports, marriage license, and birth certificates:听

Documents Accepted for Proof of听Financial听Support:

  • Bank statement or bank letter (Checking/Savings)
  • Certificates of Deposit (CD), Bonds, Stocks, or Retirement Funds that can be liquidated
  • Education Loan
  • 鈥疭cholarships (submit听award letter from听爱神传媒听College听Financial Aid)
  • Sponsor Affidavit听

Step 3: Apply for Your Student Visa

Once you receive your 爱神传媒admissions packet and Form I-20, follow the steps below to apply for your U.S. student visa.

  1. Pay the SEVIS (I-901) Fee

All international students must pay the SEVIS I-901 fee before applying for a visa.

  • Pay online:听
  • Print and keep your payment receipt for your visa interview听

Note:听Students from or born in Cameroon, Ghana, Kenya, Nigeria, and Gambia must pay this fee through Western Union.

  1. Complete the DS-160 Visa Application
  • Submit the DS-160 form online:听
  • Pay the visa application fee:听
  • Select the U.S. embassy or consulate closest to you听
  • Check visa听wait听times:

Important:听Do not travel to another country for a visa appointment unless you live there or have long-term business ties.

  1. Attend Your Biometrics Appointment
  • Provide fingerprints and听submit听required documents听
  • Bring your passport and Form I-20听

Interview Tips:

  • Arrive early鈥攍ines may be long听
  • Interviews are usually brief (1鈥2 minutes)听
  • You may be asked only a few questions听
  • You will be informed if your visa is approved, denied, or requires听additional听processing听

  1. Apply Early

You may apply for your visa up to听120 days听before听the start date listed on your Form I-20. Applying early gives you the best chance to receive your visa in time to prepare for travel to the United States.
